My family and I absolutely loved this house as well as its location on the water. The views are magnificent and the high and low tides presented ever changing views. The children loved exploring the sand bars on the beach in front of the house at low tide and finding little crabs and snails. My grown sons are avid fishermen and had a wonderful time walking out to the sand bars and fishing. The home also has a kayak. The children loved watching the little bunnies and chipmunks in the backyard while the adults enjoyed a lovely drink on the terrace watching the sunset. We all had the most wonderful time at this fabulous home and would absolutely love to come back. The beds were so comfortable - I am now trying to find the same one to buy for my own home. The showers were lovely and I might add that the kitchen was a gourmet chef’s dream. The hosts left us plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish towels, hand soap, paper plates, dishwasher tabs, etc., which might seem like small things but it was the first time renting a VRBO over the years that a host has done that and it was a joy not to have to run to the store and buy those things before our vacation even started. All in all, our family reunion was perfect in all ways and we hope that we can come again."

I cannot emphasize strongly enough how great this place is. It is small, suitable for a group of 3 or 4. It was easily walkable to my favorite beaches on the Cape, which are on the bay side. It is also walkable to other favorites, such as the Brewster Book Store, JTs, the Snowy Owl, Eat Cake 4 Breakfast, and other great restaurants. There are small markets so you don’t have to drive far for necessities. The house is outfitted with the most comprehensive set of beach gear I have ever found in a rental (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, nets, etc.). You must bring your own sheets and shower/beach towels, but everything else is provided. The house was clean and well organized. The lovely deck and gas grill provided us with wonderful opportunities to cook and dine outdoors. If you are thinking of a Cape getaway this is a great spot!"

The property was perfect, and the view was indeed spectacular. In all of our years of staying in VRBO houses this was the best start and cared for. It’s location was perfect. Our only problem was that the second bedroom was essentially a loft with a high to enter it, and my wife was afraid of heights and couldn’t use it so our friends who are tall used it and it wasn’t ideal for them in terms of height. Nevertheless, this property is as good as it gets and we appreciated our stay."

The Cook house is an absolute dream vocation home. The location was tucked away to feel private yet still so close to all the fun you want to be around. There are giant hydrangeas surrounding the house which is so stunning, makes you feel like you’re in a secret garden.
